Phoenix Sky Harbor / PHX: Getting downtown once you land is pretty easy—the airport’s just four miles (about 6km) from downtown, so you won’t have a long journey! The fastest and easiest way to get downtown is to take a taxi, which will cost about $10-$15 USD ($13-$20 AUD). Or you can take the Valley Metro Rail downtown for $2 USD. Uber/Lyft is an option as well.
