London airports
London has five (yes, five!) airports, but the two most popular for international flights are London Heathrow Airport (LHR) and London Gatwick Airport (LGW). London Heathrow is one of the world’s busiest airports, so plan accordingly, but you’ll also find some great deals on flights here! Once you arrive, you can easily take a train from the airport to the city centre.
London transportation
The famous London underground, aka “the Tube,” is quite extensive. You’ll find you can get almost anywhere in London easily taking the tube! You’ll need to grab an Oyster card, which is a reloadable card that allows you to buy passes or just pay as you go and top up as needed for the tube, trains and buses. Of course, while you’re in London, don’t miss out on your chance to ride a double-decker bus!
